Renaissance Women :)

Renaissance! Such a great word with so much meaning. I have different opinions about this subject which im sure everybody has many opinions, but i don’t think much of famous people being a renaissance because their actions are not all that great, or great enough to take this title. Thats why I say my grandma makes the perfect Renaissance example!

She has always been a good role model to me and other people. Everyone in the family always comes to her when their in trouble because she is a very dependable person and cares more about other people other than herself. Thats what makes her so great, evern if she didn’t know you but for like 2 seconds she would help you with any problem and listen to what you had to say and she would give you her total honest opinion about what she thought. Through her life she would never depend on a man or let a man take advantage of her. To me that is a strong independent women who i have grown up to be like! So basically if i could be any body it would be my Renaissance women my Grandma

This survey was quit amusing, and it made me think about how i judge different races! I did alright on the survey but the people i thought were asian were really hispanic which kind of shocked me to be honest! my point of view has changed after this. I don’t think any race  should be judged because there color or were there from. No one like being judged so why do it to other people?  There is only one person in this world that can judge and it isn’t any one on this earth!

I think the Lyre Bird is an example of people in our school personally! Everything it  hears it pretty much repeats and goes around saying it everywere not caring who hears lol! I think it is neat that a bird can listen to you and just make the noises you make. Not many animals can even make noises. Some can but how many animals do you know that can talk? I only know of one, and thats the parrot which costs thousands of dollars pretty much!! But this bird is unique to me, its pretty and the noises are actually kind of soothing if you just close your eyes and go to sleep, and what is also cool about this bird is that when it makes these noises other animals are replying to it! There very beautiful birds as well which makes them more unique than most! My favorite noise they made was probably the one that sounded like the car alarm going off ha!!

Is There Such Thing As The Perfect Body?¿

 

 

 

How many of us look in the mirror and can honestly say that we like what we see?  Not many of us can say that one. We currently live in a society that is obsessed with the idea of beauty. Sure who doesn’t want the perfect legs, perfect tummy, perfect arms, face, skin. We all want to look our best and be beautiful for our men, family, friends, etc… But looks can be very deceiving. Statistic show that the perfect body we want, pretty much does not exist!  None of us girls would care what we looked like if we weren’t all judged by all the men who are only wanting  to talk to you for your name, number, looks,  or how you look in this outfit! Yes girls and women have some pressure to always look good, but some of us go to the extreme! We strive so hard just to look like the girls in magazines, billaboards, and TV’s, when probably these people on these magazines, billaboards, and TV’s wished they looked like that as well! Girls are not the only ones though that would do anything to get the opposite sex’s opnion, boys try just as hard to get that flawless girl with the perfect body, hair, and style! Guys will go to the extreme and work out all the time and take some pills to buff up a little. But not all the time are we doing all this stuff to ourselvs to impress other people, we do it FOR ourselves and to feel good aboout us! Theres nothing more sexy than when a women can be so confident with herself she wouldn’t let any model of any kind change that about her and guys should see that kind of quality in girls and the better off they would be. That goes for us to ladies. We all know we wouldn’t give a 2nd look at a guy if he wasn’t FFIINNEE!! Once you get past the looks and get to know them and who they are looks really arent everything! So if what we thought people really were but they arent then don’t you think you might be wrong about how you think you look? So the answer to this topic is no!!!

Sup everybody,  I really think this is going to be fun! I have never had one of these things but it seems super fun and cool. I can’t wait to see everybodys blogs and what their opnions are on things! We should all be pretty use to stuff like this though since i know all of us have myspaces facebooks and other stuff!
